The Attorney-General’s Conference has grown significantly over the last twenty one years and continues to grow every year.
Acting Chief Justice Hon. Justice Kamal Kumar while opening the 21st Attorney-General’s Conference in Natadola today said this is a sign of a healthy legal system in place.
“No doubt areas covered and dealt with during the Attorney-General’s Conference affect our work as judicial officers, legal practitioners and the public at large, and this could be the reason for such large turnout,” Hon. Chief Justice said.
“I note that this Conference has able and qualified members of panel from various sectors of our community to make presentations and clarify issues relating to various areas of practice, “he added.
The presentations will range from Property Opportunities, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and Right to Health, Right to Privacy, E-Filing and the Need for Weed – Legal Medicinal Marijuana.
The first conference more than two decades ago was attended by some 50 attendees only which has now grown to 478.
