Fiji Airways Fijiana team will compete in the McDonalds Coral Coast 7s tournament this weekend.
This will be a build up for the side as they gear up for the Sydney 7s tournament next month.
Coach Saiasi Fuli says Coral Coast 7s has come at a right time and he will get a chance to test his players.
Meanwhile Fijiana is pooled with Canada, Russia and Ireland in Pool B for the Sydney 7s.
New Zealand takes is in Pool A with England, France and Papua New Guinea while Australia heads pool C with USA, Chine and Spain.
The Sydney 7s will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of February.
