Suspended Opposition member of Parliament Sitiveni Rabuka says he respects the decision by the Registrar of Political Parties.
He adds the party knew the suspension was coming.
Rabuka claims the party has unified and there is no friction.
The next step he says is for the suspended party to submit a report that is constitutionally sustainable.
He claims the suspended party is now unified and will submit a new set of office-bearers soon.
Suspended member Salote Radrodro says it is unfair and that the opposition (in suspension) should be parliament as the country is battling the COVID-19 crisis.
Suspended member Viliame Gavoka says the decision by the registrar of political parties is unfortunate and the now-suspended party will come back stronger.
Other SODELPA Members (in suspension) Ro Teimumu Kepa, Inosi Kuridrani, and Adi Litia Qionibaravi refused to comment on the suspension.
Meanwhile, Rabuka confirmed that the now-suspended party will not contest the decision made by the registrar of political parties Mohammed Saneem.
