55 Fijians have received Australia Awards scholarships to study in Australia next year. In preparation for their departure, the Australian Government representatives joined the awardees this week to provide a pre-departure briefing with essential information that awardees need upon arrival in Australia, including advice about living and studying abroad, as well as to discuss their obligations as Australia Awards recipients.
Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Fiji, Amy Crago, said Australia is committed to supporting Fiji’s efforts to promote prosperity, reduce poverty and enhance political stability.
