A total of 447 road bookings were made in the last two days.
55 was recorded in the Southern Division, 222 in the West, 129 in the East while 41 was recorded in the North.
Speeding is still an issue as 261 were recorded while six were booked for careless driving and 7 drivers were sighted driving without a seat belt.
14 drivers were caught using mobile phone while driving and 151 for other offenses like disobey road markings.
22 drivers were booked for drunk driving including 8 in the Western and Eastern divisions respectively with 6 cases recorded in the Southern Division while no case was recorded in the Northern Division.
Fiji Police Force Director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana is advising drivers to drive carefully and follow road rules as many tend to forget about their safety around this time of the year.
He adds officers will continue with their traffic operations as there will be a large movement of vehicles on our roads.
