An exciting competition is expected in the Maritime Zone this Friday, at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Four schools are expected to compete in the one day event.

One of them is Cicia High School – who have come all the way from the province of Lau, to compete in the Maritime Zone.

Cicia High School athletes trained at the ANZ Stadium – but their preparations have been not as good as expected.

Travelling has been one factor for the school – as it took them two days to reach Suva.

Cicia High School won the girls’ division with seven gold medals and three silver last year – while the boys finished in second place.

This year, they come with 18 athletes, and they hope to qualify all of them to next weeks Coca Cola Games.
