Twenty-seven breach of curfew arrests were recorded in the last 48hour period.
During the first 24hour period, four arrests were recorded and all were made in the Western Division.
Three men were arrested drunk and standing near a shop in Drasa Lautoka while a 45year old farmer was found drunk in Sigatoka town.
There were twenty-three arrests made between 11pm last night to 4am this morning.
The Western Division recorded ten arrests, South eight reports whereas the East and Central Divisions recorded four and one case respectively.
The ten arrests recorded in the West were made in Lautoka, Tavua and Namaka. Nine out of the ten arrests involved those who were heavily intoxicated during their time of arrest.
The eight arrests made in the Southern Division were recorded in Lami and Valelevu. Six men were arrested in Lami town as they were all drunk whereas a 24year old student was arrested from Nadiri Settlement, Valelevu and is also being investigated for allegedly assaulting a Police Officer.
The arrests recorded in the Eastern Division were made in Nausori and Nakasi. Three men were arrested walking along the Kings Road drunk and looking for a taxi while a man in his 30s was arrested at the Rewa Bridge Roadblock drunk.
