Out of the 37 people arrested last night, 19 were intoxicated.

The Eastern division recorded 10 cases including eight people who all found drunk at Naimasimasi ,Nausori ,Lokia, and Wainibuku area.
The other cases involved two men who were found loitering at Lokia Area in Rewa.

19 people were arrested in the Southern division out of which 11 arrests were made in relation to alcohol at the Narere, Kinoya, and Vatuwaqa area.

Four cases were recorded including a 17-year- old juvenile who was arrested after returning from drinking kava at the Navua area and a 25-year-old man also from Navua was found driving during curfew hours.

A 24 -year- old farmer of Calia area in Sawani was arrested for loitering while two men in their 30’s were found walking along Vatuwaqa area.

The Western division recorded eight cases including four men who were found loitering in the Ba area.

Two men in their 30’s were found drunk in Navosa and Ba area while a 23-year-old woman from the Nadroga area was also found intoxicated.

A 28-year-old man was found loitering in Nadi area.

No reports were recorded in the Northern and the Central divisions.
