An 11 year old is the latest youngest perpetrator of sexual violence in the country.

The latest statistics on sexual violence released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has revealed an 11 year old was charged with the rape of a 3-year-old girl.

The 11 year old is one of the fourteen people charged with a total of 26 counts of separate incidents in July.

There were 14 victims of the 26 separate incidents .

10 victims were under the age of 18 years.

There was 1 male victim and 13 female victims while all accused persons were male.

There were 7 incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.

In one incident a 19-year-old uncle was charged for allegedly raping his 5-year-old nephew
and two 7-year-old nieces.

In another incident a 38-year-old and a 55-year-old man were charged with rape and sexual
assault of their 10-year-old niece.

There was one incident were a 55-year-old man was charged for allegedly raping his 21-year-old st
ep daughter.

There were two separate incidents where a 38-year-old grandfather and a 59-year-old granduncle were each charged with rape of their 6-year-old granddaughter and 12-year-old  grandniece.

There was one incident of marital rape where a 27-year -old was charged with the rape of his 25
– year old wife and in another incident a 35 – year – old man was charged with the rape of his 40 – year
– old de facto partner.

In a separate incident a 38 – year – old man was charged with the rape of a 13 – year – old girl. He
was also charged with abduction and wrongful confinement.

There was one incident where two men aged 22 and 23 years old were charged with the rape of a 19
-year – old girl and in another incident a 49 – year – old was charged with the rape of a 10
– year – old girl.
