Out of the more than 500 patients admitted at the Saint Giles Hospital, about 100 have been admitted for Substance Abuse.
This was confirmed by Commissioner of Police, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho during the United States Drug Enforcement Agency workshop on Clandestine Labs in Suva today.
Qiliho also highlighted the most common forms of Substance Abuse.
He adds it has also triggered a lot of discussions as methamphetamine is one of the most commonly used drugs in Fiji now.
