Fiji is Ready for the 52nd ADB Meeting
Preparations are well underway for the upcoming “Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors” of the Asian Development Bank – that will be held in the country for the first time from this Wednesday.
While it has been confirmed that more than 400 police officers have been deployed to ensure the safety and security of the visiting delegates, Chair of the Asian Development Bank – ADB Board of Governors, Attorney-General – Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, toured the main venue of the meeting in Nadi yesterday.
The event will be broadcasted around the world and this is a chance for Fiji to prove whether we have the ability to host an annual event of this magnitude, as a small Pacific Island Nation.
The meetings will be held at the Sheraton Fiji Resort, Westin, Sofitel and the InterContinental Golf Resort and Spa.
