Fiji Airways Gets Clearance to Resume Flights for Leased Miami Air

Fiji Airways has confirmed that the Miami Air aircraft which it had leased in place of the already grounded Boeing Max 8 Aircrafts, will resume operating flights from today.

A Fiji Airways Spokesperson said that after a series of safety assessments and after receiving clearance for the Civil Aviation regulatory Authority of Fiji, Miami Air will resume operating flights on behalf of Fiji Airways.

A Miami Air 737 Aircraft with 136 passengers skidded off the runaway, landing in a river in Jacksonville last week.
